Immortals, who have finished in the lower half of the LCS regular season rankings in previous League of Legends splits, are revamping their squad in preparation for the upcoming 2023 Spring Split by adding Edward “Tactical” Ra to the starting lineup.

Independent journalist Brieuc Seeger claims that the 23-year-old marksman is in talks to join Immortals after a dissatisfying year with TSM.

The veteran ADC rejoined the once-lauded team in 2022, along with a squad comprised of players from the LPL’s developing division and Huang “Maple” Yi-Tang, a seasoned mid laner.

TSM had high hopes for its young players, but roster turnover and internal issues have reduced the organization to the LCS’s cellar.

Although they made it into the Summer playoffs, they were eliminated from contention by Evil Geniuses, thereby ending their season and sending the crew back to the drawing board.

Tactical was replaced as the team’s AD carry by TSM’s Academy player, Tony “Instinct” Ng, and ended up playing in just seven games over the course of the whole summer. According to Oracle’s Elixir, an aggregator of League statistics, he had a 19 1.7 KDA throughout that time period, with 14 kills, 20 deaths, and 19 assists, and was responsible for 19.8 percent of his team’s total fatalities.

Meanwhile, Immortals have been trying to start again after having little success since returning to the league in 2020.

Not much is known about the remainder of the club’s 2023 League lineup, however it has been speculated that support Lee “IgNar” Dong-geun may be leaving the squad in the winter to join Dignitas in time for the next competitive season.
